so this is how it all starts

i'm sitting here knowing that i need to fold laundry or i won't have time for a nap (which i desperately need, but i can't take now anyway since katya has a friend over), and yet i'm creating this blog, which i probably won't upkeep well (just look at my journal), but i became inspired by looking at my friends' blogs and you can tell i need sleep b/c this is a honker long sentence that doesn't really go anywhere (kinda like me, except i go to sam's club and the kid's preschool, etc).

anyway, thought i'd try my hand at annoying everyone by relating all of my current obsessions and boring them to death with my stories of painting and planting and the such. i can't spend all my life letting everyone think they are cooler than me (although they really are).
