when it rains, it pours... or lack thereof

well, i've been meaning to post for some time now, but things just keep happening! this last month has been a whirlwind, and it's only going to get more outta control!

a couple of weekends ago, we had the bennions over (nate's 1st cuz once removed and his family) for the weekend. they're from kansas city and were here on a temple trip, so they just extended it. it was totally fun, but completely crazy, since they are also a family of 6, so there were 12 people running around. we got to get out and do a bunch of things (thanks for getting me out of the house, you guys!) hopefully, they'll want to come back!

these goats are vicious! seth couldn't handle being in there with them, and liam didn't know what to think!

all the kids are going on the lewis and clark expedition--hope they have fun!

katya was able to finally start preschool--hallelujah! but, it took me 5 full minutes to get her to go in the room, and that was after dragging her in there. poor seth kept saying that he wanted to go, and kept running down there--next year babe! here she is on the way there.

now she is fine and totally is back in the groove and making friends and all. seth and liam are more accustomed to being without their older siblings and have even started to play games together.

my dad and sis, steve, drove through her last friday on the way to taking her back out to ricks (oops--i mean, byu-i). it was fun to see them. visits with my family are always way too short!

courtney is moving out here next week, probably for the next year or so, and it looks like we'll be doing some remodeling in the basement. i thought i was going to take a break from house work for a while after the dining room, but i guess i was wrong! still, it'll be fun to have a babysitter/while-they-sleep sitter for the next while so we can go on dates again!

so, between all this, and our church callings, nate's work, other worries, having people over for movies, games, dinner, etc and taking time out to read a couple of books (which means i get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING done), i'm going a little crazy.
