yes, these stairs leading up to the bank start in the water. the building behind them is the post office--thankfully it never got up to there!
this is again behind the bank, and yes, that is a speedlimit sign so there is a road somewhere under there. it was kinda freaky to see all this stuff under water, but also kinda cool at the same time. lots of people would stop on the highways and see what is undercover. i think some towns south of us got it a little worse, or they just weren't prepared as well.
in other news, the twins are still growing and doing fine. they are each a little over 2 1/2 lbs each and starting to annoy me. adam (baby 2) is up in my ribs and hurts me a lot. i feel quite big. i'm at 28 weeks and am measuring like i'm at about 36. yuck!
we played musical rooms with the kids--painting katya's room a more neutral gray, and moving jeremy into it, and then moving liam in with seth. poor seth! liam isn't used to sleeping with anyone and tends to be a lttle forceful, so most of the time seth falls asleep somewhere else so we can lock liam in there by himself until he falls asleep. now we just have to get working on the twins room!
we've also started potty training seth, and it has been marvelously easy compared to other kids. thank goodness--it's not like i can chase after him too easily.
isn't life great!!????

Craziness is right! Fun to hear about the all room changes. The flooding is incredible. It has been amazing to have such a wild winter. Luckily no flooding in our basement and sounds like you were good too! We miss you!
Oh you poor thing. I am so glad no to be prego anymore. I hope things are going smoothly for you. Way to plan ahead! You never said where Katya ended up... did she get booted for good? (or I wasn't reading carefully) I am going to go back and check.
